A Pictoral Tour of Donjeux

Take a tour of Donjeux’s interior layout.

Donjeux has four internal spaces. The wheelhouse, the aft cabin, the kitchen and saloon and the fore cabin with its toilet and bathroom.

The wheelhouse provides good all round vision and has seating and removable tables. An ideal place for meals or for watching the countryside pass by when underway.

Forward of the wheelhouse, steps lead down to the kitchen with breakfast bar. It is equipped with a four-ring gas hob and oven, microwave, fridge and full size sink. Crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, kitchen utensils, are provided for 6 people.

The saloon has a wood burning stove, two easy chairs and a sofa which can be converted into another double bed. The boat has full diesel powered central heating radiators. 240V ac power is provided from either an inverter powered from the boat’s batteries or shore power. There are separate batteries for engine and domestic supplies. Electric sockets are English 3-pin, with some European round-pin sockets. There is a hi-fi system, a TV and a DVD player. The saloon has a library of canal maps and guide books, tourist information material and books donated by owners.

Aft of the wheelhouse, steps lead down to the master bedroom with 4’6″ double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and small vanity unit. There is an en-suite shower, toilet and hand basin.
